The first ever Pansonic DVD release by Edward Quist, American digital
visual artist.
A live performance, close filmed.
A redux digital film based around a Pansonic performance from their
New York stop of their adventerous 1999 Round The World Tour.

The film is a hyper-real abstract reflection of the duo, in the final
year of the last century. Whilst the documentary core remains, the
footage is twisted and shaped by Quist into a new form in conjunction
with Pansonic's improvised set.

I love Pan Sonic, but i'm glad I didn't spend money on that. The visuals were cool. But i'd rather just have seen a live video of them. The film itself is only 30 something minutes but the DVD is huge in size for those 30 minutes. And that's really all you get. 30 minutes times three ways of looking at it.

Totally disagree with ektakrome, I have never seen anything like this. I bought the DVD and had to watch all three angles after each other. It takes the very idea of a live video and makes it into a piece of art. The visuals are just stunning; hypnotic and atmospheric, complementmenting the sound of Pan Sonic perfectly. The time and effort that must have gone into this project is exemplary. A visionary work.
