Inni is Sigur Ros’ second live film following 2007′s hugely-celebrated tour documentary Heima. Whereas that film positioned the enigmatic group in the context of their Icelandic homeland, providing geographical, social and historical perspectives on their otherworldly music, Inni focuses purely on the band’s performance, and stands as a stark counterpoint to Heima’s kaleidoscopic richness. Where Heima was lush and colorfully expansive, Inni is spare and near-monochromatic in its tunnel vision.Filmed in a manner that invites both intimacy and claustrophobia, Inni cocoons the viewer in a one-on-one relationship with the band, eschewing the audience for closeness, depicting how it feels for both band and fan to experience Sigur Ros live. The film’s elegance and atmosphere are enhanced by Morisset’s re-filming of the original digital footage on 16mm, which was then re-filmed again, sometimes through prisms and other found objects, allowing Inni to look and feel like something recovered from the past. Interspersed with this is archival footage drawn from the band’s previous decade, dating back as far as 1998.
Celebrating his tenth anniversary as a recording artist, The Hacker unleashes this double disc package featuring a CD compilation recorded live and featuring various well known tracks from his catalogue, plus one unreleased production and three bonus studio tracks. The DVD is crammed with goodies, two hours worth of footage in fact, including a documentary feature in addition to various live documents: there's an entire live set recorded in Grenoble back in 2006, plus extra live footage from 2002 featuring Miss Kittin. The hour-long feature 'X' is particularly interesting, documenting The Hacker's beginnings in Grenoble and charting his career arc with more live footage in addition to interviews with the likes of DJ Hell.

Two years on from their critically acclaimed 'Billion Dollar Gravy', and the band embarking on their first round of live shows, comes the substantial follow up 'Power Ballads'. > The bar has been raised once more on with this new collection of Drum & Bass 'Power Ballads'; LONDON ELEKTRICITY's unique D&B sound rises to the challenge with radio friendly vocal bangers sitting perfectly alongside some next level dance floor action... > Band leader TONY COLMAN, alongside BBC Jazz Award winning vocalist LIANNE CARROLL, MC WREC, LANDSLIDE, ANDY WATERWORTH and THE JUNGLE DRUMMER provide a TOTALLY live show, no click track, playback or computers on stage with this band just top quality musicians and vocalists rolling out the most high voltage soulful, dancefloor D&B you've ever heard.
Okay so... some of you will blame me like: "hey, this is not electronic music!" And it's true, this is more like "disco stuff" and in my opinion it's not a bad thing, old disco music stuff is already here in another posts like "MV Dance Collection". Having said that...
This is my special gift for you... I found this one after a very very long time of searching and I never wanted to share it. Now I changed my mind about that... So I think it's rare enough and I think at least from this point of view this DVD deserves its place here, on rareclips...
