In a moment of madness the press blabber attached to this weighty triple-disc tome proclaims that Output Recordings (and I'm paraphrasing here) 'casually invented the future', but you'd have to concede that the labels' decade at the top of the punk-funk tree has been a fruitful one, hooking up with DFA for Rapture and LCD Soundsystem releases whilst nurturing home-grown talent like Four Tet (and his Fridge) as well as the far flung silliness of Mu and Rammstein... sorry, Blackstrobe. The tracklist spread across the two CDs paints a pretty comprehensive portrait of the label's various facets, but then you get the DVD, which itself makes for a fairly desirable piece of merchandise, featuring a whopping 37 video shorts as accompaniment to a cornucopia of Output recording artists' key works. They'll be missed... Really nice and rare DVD with some cool stuff on it. Four Tet, Playgroup, Blackstrobe, do i have to say more?enjoy:)

"Since day one, music videos have a very important place in F Communications' history. As important as music. And as for music, creativity & emotion are always the keys with which we open new doors & perspectives. Since the beginning, we prefer finding new talents in our amazing surrounding of friends, contacts & creative young production companies rather than working with famous directors. Our crushes for young director's work have built F Communications' visual identity, with computer animations, films or DV shootings. These early works in music videos have often opened doors & brought proposals for the directors; film directing, ads or other videos for more crossover acts... There! We were happy! And even if our dear music TV channel workers were having less & less fun, we were thinking that internet broadcast was an option and that sooner or later we would do such a video program with all these images and music we love! Here it is! Have fun & enjoy!" Another rare one, hope you'll like it:)Part01 reupped!
